Coach Jon with new Crocodiles

" I really like the crocodile wrestling program because I got to do wrestling before middle school.  I also like it because I get to meet other kids my age."

Preparing to wrestle

Several of the Crocodiles attended the Battle in the Bay Tournament on December 14.  The wrestlers did very well and gained experience in tournaments.

1st Place: Erik Nelson

               Michael Dixon

2nd Place: Joshua Tang

4th Place: Jack Ely

The Natomas Tournament in Sacramento in February 2009, was attended by several Crocodiles. Tennessee, Jack, Joshua, Eric and Michael each won one of their matchs.

Changes for the  APAL Crocodiles schedule for spring break:
No practice on Wednesday April 9th, Monday April 14th, Wednesday April 16th
Practice will be held on Saturday April 12th, and April 19th

The Crocodile Wrestling program is designed for 1st - 5th grade boys and girls to learn basic wrestling techniques.  Participants are paired with other wrestlers of similar weight and age.  Every practice is supervised by coaches with wrestling experience and is lots of fun. The sport of wresting includes tumbling and stretching and improves coordination and agility. Socialization and team building skills also increase as wrestlers work together becoming one team.  No previous experience is necessary to participate.

"The Coaches are Awesome! They have taught my child discipline, patience, and structure.  My family appreciates APAL."

November 2009

"My son learned many skills from this experience."

" The Coach does a fantastic job in keeping the kids motivated and teaching them new stuff.  Our son has really benefitted from the opportunity to participate in a high-contact sport and learn physical self-control.  Thanks."
